How to play

Tap a wire to lift its birds, then tap another wire to send them. As many birds fly as there is room for; you never choose how many. Get every bird onto a dark sleeve and the switch throws itself. Level 1 walks you through it, and the bulb at the top right shows the next move whenever you’re stuck.

I ran out of moves

Each level has a small budget of moves, shown on the wooden sign. If it runs out with a bird on bare wire, the switch throws anyway and the level starts again. Tap the sign to open the menu, where Undo gives a move back; the arrow at the top left restarts the level at any time.

Buying the Full Game

The first 20 levels are free. The Full Game unlocks the other 180, once and for good. Tap the wooden sign to open the menu, scroll to Unlock the Full Game and choose Unlock. The same card appears when you finish level 20.

Restoring on a new device or after reinstalling

Your purchase follows your Apple Account. It usually comes back by itself; if not, open the menu, go to Unlock the Full Game and choose Restore Purchases.

Family Sharing

The Full Game is shared with everyone in your Family Sharing group. They get it on their own devices without buying it again.

My progress didn’t move to my new device

In this version, progress is kept on each device; only the Full Game purchase follows your Apple Account. Syncing progress through iCloud is planned for a later update.

Refunds

Purchases are made through Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Accessibility

Birdie plays fully with VoiceOver: each wire is a button that tells you how many birds are on it, how much room is left, how long its sleeve is and how many birds are on bare wire. Double-tap a wire to lift or send. Larger text and Reduce Motion are supported.
